Global Shares is delighted to be shortlisted by Deloitte Ireland for its 2021 Fast50™ Programme, marking our fifth consecutive year featuring in these awards. Now in their 22nd year, the Deloitte Awards rank the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last four years, as well as celebrate innovation in Ireland’s indigenous technology sector.
This year’s Fast 50™ awards showcase how the Irish technology sector has not just survived, but thrived over the last year. Many businesses were able to disrupt, or indeed their growth has accelerated because of the pandemic, and for this reason we may see a lot of new entrants, which is exciting.
The winners are selected on the basis of revenue growth alone and companies like the Fast 50™ ranking because it’s black and white – there’s no judging panel and no room for subjectivity.
The winning Fast 50™ listing will showcase Ireland’s leading tech entrepreneurs, whose can-do mindset and technology is enabling them to compete and lead on a global scale.

At Global Shares we’re big fans of the Deloitte Fast50™ Awards because they focus on growth – one of the earliest signals of how successful a company will be. We’ve increased our ranking over the past four years from position #44 to position #16 and we also had the great honour in 2017 to be crowned Deloitte’s ‘FinTech Company of the Year’. Both 2020 and 2021 have been record-breaking years of revenue growth for us, in spite of Covid-19, and we can’t wait to see how we rank this year!
