We are delighted to welcome Ashfaq ‘Ash’ Adams to our team as Channel Partner Director, EMEA. Ash has worked for some of the largest tier-one financial banking institutions in the world including HSBC, Citi, and Morgan Stanley, all in client-facing roles. He brings more than 15 years experience in the share plans industry and a combined total experience of 23 years in the financial services sector.

Many of us have known and indeed worked alongside Ash previously. His breadth of industry knowledge from share plans to brokerage and custody will place him in great stead for this role. Ash started his career at Citigroup as a Senior Client Manager in the share plan brokerage team, executing client trading instructions in the UK, Europe, and US equity markets. He then spent three years in wealth management with St James’s Place, before moving to Equiniti for three years as Senior Relationship Manager in the discretionary share plans team. Prior to moving to Global Shares, Ash spent almost 5 years as a Relationship Director at Shareworks by Morgan Stanley (formerly Solium), building and managing a team of relationship managers. There, he also managed some of the largest revenue-generating FTSE 100 clients and household names.
Ash asserted “I’m really delighted to be joining Global Shares at a very exciting time. The company is going from strength to strength, with tremendous growth in the recruitment of very experienced people and major investment in platform technology over the last few years, which really demonstrates the commitment of the business to the industry. We now have a product to suit all clients and partners in servicing share plan requirements and participants”.
Ash is London-based and enjoys participating in sports, especially football, cricket, and golf.
