We were over the moon to be crowned winner of the ‘FinTech Innovation’ Award at the 2022 Financial Services Awards in association with KPMG. The Award Ceremony took place at Dublin’s Mansion House on October 27th, and was attended by 300 people from the financial services community
The FS Awards were established to ‘celebrate excellence in financial services, recognise the brightest minds and showcase the reinvention of the sector’. This year they also celebrated 35 years of the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Ireland and were sponsored by KPMG.
KPMG is delighted to celebrate the very best in Ireland’s Financial Services industry and support the FS Awards. The level of entries across the ten categories was outstanding and demonstrates why Ireland is recognised as one of the leading financial services centres in Europe and a location of choice for many international finance firms.

Global Shares was shortlisted as a finalist by a panel of judges, along with five other companies: Alviere, Liberty Insurance, Strikepay, Taxback International and Xtract 360.
The award ‘recognises the very best initiatives, systems and products created which demonstrate outstanding innovation in finance’. The judges were looking for ‘a company that contributed to the advancement of technology within the sector, and innovation that has a proven record of benefitting both the organisation and its customers’.
There were 10 diverse categories and two special recognition awards presented.
